Necessity is a product of my desire to have the environments I create become more accessible. I think of each pod as a tiny installation to be carried throughout daily life as a constant reminder to dream and wonder. Inspired by kaleidoscopes and view finders Necessity is meant to be looked through and into as a way to immerse the wearer in a more mental state of dreaming rather than the physical one that can be found in A Reminder.
