Heather Rayne Coleman is an artist, a printmaker, a papermaker, a maker of things, an adventurer, a seeker of wonder, and a daydreamer. Originally from Memphis, TN Heather attended the Memphis College of Art on the Presidential Scholarship where she received her BFA in Printmaking in 2016. She now resides in Portland, OR where she attended the Pacific Northwest College of Art obtaining her MFA in Print Media in 2019. Her work is an exploration of light and shadow, daydreams and realities, imaginary spaces and the physical spaces that inform them. Heather draws inspiration from the natural world and the patterns, colors, textures, and wonder that exist within it.
